Quick Summary
This discussion addresses how to file tax returns for trading activities, specifically for intraday equity trading and futures & options. The advice clarifies that intraday equity trades are treated as speculative business income, while futures and options fall under normal business income. Equity delivery trading is considered capital gains. It's important to correctly categorise these transactions on your Income Tax Return (ITR) to accurately report profits and losses.

Equity intraday will be under speculative business income..

Futures and options will be under normal business income

Equity delivery trading will be under capital gains..

But depends on the other factors as well.

If you are completely in share market then entire transactions should be considered under business income
No. im not completely involved in share market. only in that year did intratrading in zerodha
Then it is speculative business income with minus figure
