@ nidhi der are lot of changes in changes in sfm. New concepts have been introduced. New sums have been included in practice manual, rtp, mock test papers, supplementary introduced by ICAI.
I have taken classes and given my attempt this time using Aaditya jain sir 's notes and questions. In my opinion it depends on you, let me explain myself, If you are an average student who is not aware about some Finance terms and is ready to bear to do more practice for better understanding like referring other Practice manual, makkar sir's book then you should go with Aaditya jain sir as he lets you understand the basics of each chapter very easily however he doesn't uplifts you from that level. Secondly the major problem with his style and books is he changes the past examination questions
In continuation : He changes the questions given in his book which had come earlier in past exams or are in PM/RTP or he provides a NOTE/HINT with the question itself explaining the meaning of a difficult term and provides the answer below it. This hampers your interpretation skills and you never feel adequate and see yourself at level
of Final exam. If you want a indepth understanding you should go with Sanjay saraf sir. However I should caution you that without practise by yourself you won't succeed if you happen to take any of these teacher's classes.
For audit this is what you can go through : 1.For individual chapters and PE go with Surbhi maam's book(e.g. PE, GIC, Peer review, NBFC, Stock Broker etc) 2.For SAs strictly advising you to go with CA Ravi taori's book. I am recommending this over Surbhi Maam's book is because he provides with the detailed view on each SA with "PNEMONICS" and trend is that summaries are now not expected on SAs in exams but individual aspects are tested and Surbhi maam's book provide a bird point of view not a detailed view. 3.After you are done with the chapter/SA, go through for a prima facie assessment from Study mat what topics were left by the author(if any).I recommend u to download the soft copy of all chapters Study mat in ur PC or mobile for this. 4.Complete PM,RTPs 5.Keep revising. This strategy will assure you that whatever the level of paper is you will get good marks atleast. PS. I had taken CA ravi taori's SAs pendrive from CAclubindia and it was worth it so you can check the same also.
