Query regarding writing Subsections in Law exam

Hello Friends,

I am putting this question to those who have successfully cleared PCC/IPCC/CA Finals.

Can you please tell me that is writing of the section number enough? or even subsections are to be written while answering the questions during exams?

For example: A subheading of promise to pay a time barred debt is specified under section 25(3) of Indian Contract Act, 1872.

Now will any marks be deducted in the exams if we quote only the Section 25 and not its subsection?

PLz plz plz plz plz reply.

thanking in anticipation.

if you have enough confidence about the section than you must quote sub section. it will definitely fetch more marks. but if you r not sure than don't write. it will be better

Thank you for your reply Aditya Sir,

but can you please tell me that will it result in a marks deduction in exams if we quote only section no. and not the subsection?
