Hello,

I seek your expertise on the following issue.

I have obtained a temporary GST registration for claiming a refund of GST paid to the builder. The bank account has been validated and Aadhaar authentication completed. However, I am unable to submit “GST RFD‑01 – Refund for Unregistered Taxpayer” due to an error message stating: “The bank account selected by you is not correct.”

Could you please guide me on how to resolve this?

To fix the error, re-add and re-authenticate the bank account details under your temporary profile, ensure the PAN/Name on the account strictly matches, clear your browser cache/cookies, and if the mapping glitch persists, raise a ticket on the GST Grievance Portal (selfservice.gstsystem.in) with screenshots of the validated account and the error page.
