According to the provisions of section 96 of companies act 2013 the first AGM of a company shall be held with in 9 months from the end of financial year of the company.
for example: if a company is incorporated on 01.01.2019 the respective financial year ends on 31st march 2019. so the 9 months period will be 31st Dec 2019 is the due date for convening the AGM. Am I right?

You can held first AGM on or before 31.12.2020 if if a company is incorporated on 01.01.2019 t and opt the  financial year ends on 31st march 2020

It means the short period from 01.01.2019 to 31.03.2019 is not counted. the first financial year of the company will from 1.04.2019 to 31.03.2020. and accordingly the date for holding the first AGM will be 31.03.2020. this is what you're saying right? Mr.Sree?
