One of my Client has not received Refund for 2008-09.

I have made a simple application for the release of refund to the relevant A.O. a month ago.

but till the date I have not received any reply of Refund Order.. So what should I Do?

I heard about Gravience Cell for the Quick Reponse of the Refund.. is it True?

If yes, where is it situated? in IT Dpertment Premises or elsewhere?

Can we make online Gravinence for the Refund or not?

please suggest me all the possible ways.... for the fast processing of Refund.

I am worried about that My client said If I went to another CA or Advocate, my refund will surely release within 15 days...

Dear all.. How is it possible? please... help me...at the earliest..

normally the period allowed to AO is 15 days but it's a govt. work so plz wait for some more time

if there will be no response

than u can apply to higher authority(sp) or by RTI...

Hey Hardik its tough to release the refund back, But anyways its nt impossible.

According to me u must try to figure out the reason y d assessee is not getting the refund. It is possible that TDS has been deducted by his name but not deposited, and thus he is not getting its credit in the tax computation.

One can check it in the website of incometaxindia by registering ur client. If the TDS claimed in the ROI matches with the details in 26AS, file a petition with the concerned department along with proofs and copy of 26AS, the probability of getting the refund would increase.
