Please confirm what will be the status of a unit enjoying excise exemption under Not. 49&50/2003 if it shifts its premises from one notified area to another notified area after 31-Mar-2010. Will shifting of premises will affect its Exemption status anyway.
Request for a well authenticated opinion on above matter,
Excise registration control is specific unit based and shifting of unit to another place will attract fresh registration, exemption and other facilities will come in existence on merit of the new registration.
