hey friends can any one plz solve my small querry
IN one book on excise it is mentioned that "salt" is included in the definition of goods and the other book very renowned writer it is mentioned that goods excludes salt.
can any one plz tell me the correct answer ?
The definition of "excisable goods" includes salt as it is an exciseable good. However no excise duty is levied on the same..., i.e, the rate of excise duty is NIL.
