QR code

As per my knowledge taxpayers having turnover of above 500 cr in any F.Y from 2017-18 needs to generate QR code for B2C invoices.

But it was deferred to a certain period. I think it is currently applicable if turnover exceeds specified limit in F.Y. 2021-22. Can anyone confirm it.

Also can someone refer me the Latest notification/circular related to this.

Thanks

  • B2B: If your AATO is > ₹5 Crore, you must use the government's e-invoice system (which generates an IRN and a QR code).

  • B2C: If your AATO is > ₹500 Crore, you must self-generate and display a Dynamic QR code on your B2C invoices to enable digital payments.
