Quick Summary
This discussion explores whether an LLP with branches in Maharashtra and Karnataka, each with a separate GSTIN, can purchase goods under one GSTIN and sell them under the other. The consensus is that this is permissible, with proper invoicing and GST treatment. It also touches upon the nature of stock transfers as sales and purchases for GST purposes and potential restrictions.

Yes you can do so. You will raise proper invoice with gst
Normal entry treatment
What about restricting it to stock transfer.

Even stock transfer will have the nature of sale and purchase as far as gst is concerned

Yes you can
I know there are several connotations but as per present Act there are some restrictions on stock transfer

What kind of restrictions?

Even I would like to know what are those restrictions
