Whether should i deduct Provident fund of retainers who are on contract basis for more than 365 days.

Dear Sir,

You have to see whether there is contractual relationship of employer-employee like leave,timings,attendance etc,.to apply provisions of PF.

If no such relationship there is no need to deduct PF.

My answer is yes,others may comment.

But there is one exception that they should below 58 years of age.Above that age management have to accept admitting them as members,
