When calculating the LTCG for the property sale, we can deduct expenses related to improvement. What all comes under imporvement any list , just the construction related or also property tax, ground rent, any freehold conversion charges etc also incurred during the time when the property was with the assessee.? No. Taxes like ground rent cannot be part of COI......
But the expenses which enhance the value of the property, or are permanent in nature like construction or additions or conversion charges etc..... can be included in COI.
