Professional Fees Market Rates

hi, this is gourav I have been practicing for an year now in bangalore, I dont know what mistake im making while valuating my work and billing the client, for book keeping and gst monthly filing. so considering the minimum around 400-500 entries (100 sale invoices x 4-5 times considering bank entries receipt entries, reconciliation) and Filing GSTR1 & GSTR3B on monthly basis quoting the least as 5000 pm + GST,  is this expensive ?? or few of my competition who is doing the same at 2500-3000 pm without GST is fair??? while institute guidelines suggest a way different fees to be charged. this confusing or there is no uniformity in the market.

Quick Summary
A Bangalore-based professional is seeking clarity on market rates for bookkeeping and monthly GST filing services. They are charging INR 5000 + GST for approximately 400-500 entries and GST filings, but are concerned this may be too high compared to competitors charging INR 2500-3000 without GST. The discussion highlights a lack of uniformity in market pricing and a conflict between competitive rates and institute-prescribed minimum fees, with questions raised about potential action for charging below the minimum.

You must quote minimum 10k to 15k.

Just refer minimum fees prescribed for members

Hello eswar ji, if I charge as per minimums fees prescribed for members, I'm loosing client coz my competitive colleagues charge 2000-3000 for the above mentioned services.

Is there any action taken by the institute if we charge less than minimum fees prescribed!??

Professionals should maintain the same rate to avoid this kind of conflicts..

Institute rates are optional and not mandatory
