Professional course vs. bank po

When we join the CA course after 12th, we don't actually know the efforts involved in CA or Bank PO exam. After spending 4 years we realize, CA involves in depth study and expert knowledge, while it is not so in a bank po exam. But still bank PO enjoys handsome package. The only negative point in Bank PO is for every 1 seat, there are around 1000 applications. So competition is much more as compared to CA. Overall one can say Bank PO is better choice. But i will say it is a different kind of field. So when one wants to go in competition exams then he should not do CA and should try for various competition exam like Bank PO, LIC, RBI, IAS etc. At the stage of CA final its difficult to quit CA and also it is difficult to appear for competition exam along with CA. So continue your CA.

A person pursuing CA who crak Bank PO exam easily even a person doin CA he can Crack the IAS/RAS /SSC exam if he do the work hard as like in CA.

Crack the Bank PO exam is easy for CA Student.-

Yes the low salary of an average CA is something disappointing. But by focusing on few things you can make yourself marketable. 1) Good communication and english skills 2) Practical understanding of subjects and general awareness of corporate sector. 3) A post qualification course of ICAI, in which you are interested. Remember one most important thing that Life is not always FARE. so it's not necessary that if you have put much efforts as compared to someone else, you should be rewarded more. Sad but True fact of life. This is normal in life that sometimes you get more than you deserve and it get adjusted when you sometimes get less than you deserve.

No. it is just a thought that came to my mind. That we CAs put much efforts as compared to those of competition exams but we don't get that much reward. So i want to know your views on this.

If you want jobs in bank after becoming a CA,then there are are opportunities there too. Although bank PO is general job,IBPS also recruits specialist officers in Finance for which CA is a compulsory qualification and salary and growth prospects are better than bank POs. If you are talking about competitive exams CAs have lots of opportunities there too. Every PSU recruits CAs through their all India tests in which competition is much less compared to Bank PO. In hindi we say " Dur k dhol suhane lagte hai". Last time when SBI was recruiting POs,competition was 1500;1. And dont forget that there are people who have left their jobs to prepare for Bank PO exams andalso the other set  who is preparing for competitive exams for a Clerk to Civils,all of them sit for this exam. 

 

If you want government job,complete your CA,there are plethora of options like PSUs, Banks and in the end POs is available even then. Its not like CAs are not getting job,it is just that people who are not getting jobs are more vocal than ever.

No 2 fields can be compared...there are many CA's doing job in banks or other govt. institutions...merely passing CA cant guarantee you high salary...its not the degree, but your capabilityand bit luck  which will give you a career...bank has different type of environment and bank exam is competitive whereas CA exam is not a competitive exam...Bank PO is a job...CA is an educational qualification...and CA's enjoy very high packages...its only that not EVERY CA enjoy high package...you are 25 so i think you can still continue with your CA if you dont have any professional problem...and remember no field is perfect...every year thousands of bank PO'S resign and every year hundred of Civil Servants also resign...so ultimately its your satisfaction and happiness which matters.

If you ask me I'll suggest you to continue with your CA unless you have financial constraints or on a lighter note your gf wants to settle down with you. At this point it seems you've chip in lots of time & efforts & needless to say $$. Drifting away for a quick job is no good. Lastly, age is just a no. If I were you I'd shut off all my thoughts & focus only on my upcoming ca exams. Do you think the phrase "CA has no future' holds good? Used by many to hire fresh CAs at low salary.

CA is a course where u can rip the benefit once ur through. if u thing u cant then move on .

Dangerous to be thinking like this,

any type of govt sector job is really hard fpr general category.now i am pursuing b.com .can i do cs(company seceratery is it good or not  .but one thing that i know ca is hard than cs ...cs is good option for girls ..please anyone suggest me am i right or wrong..

Don't do any professional course just for the sake of it.If interested in law Pursue Regular llb from a above average university along with CS.

Just a similar problem with my younger sister. after giving exam of ca continiously 3-4 times she gone through with mental stress and depression. than one of my friend suggest her to fill bnak exam form and start preparing it also. than she clered IBPS clerk exam in first attempt. now she is happy and satisfied with her job.

its depend on you... if you like to do job in govt sector then competition exam is good if you want to take a professional degree than cs is best for you after that you can also do a govt sector job as a cs..
