The slab rate of professional tax varies statewise.
the due dates for remittance and filing return also varies accordingly
for eg
in karnataka the due date of PT remittance is 20th
in chennai it is half yearly and also stipulates certain other conditions.

say for April 08 Due date will be May20th, 2008
