A person can apply / show intrest to be a director in a company minimum 14 days before of AGM. then members may appoint him / her as a Director.

I think The above procedure is not required for pvt ltd company. what's ur opinion?

its basically for Public Company but to appoint director but not as an additional director is only a way.
