Hello People,

I am confused with the power to Branch Auditors... Where can i get the detailed matter regarding power of Branch Auditors.

My Doubt is.. Do branch auditor have the power to verify books of accounts of Head office

Actually the branch auditor has the same powers as vested in Statutory Auditor u/s 227. But the Branch auditors scope of audit limited only to the extent of the said branch (but he can get confirmations and other correspondences required for completion of audit). Hence, the branch auditor is not entitled to verify the books of HEAD OFFICE.. KRISHNA
