Posted revalidation letter to wrong address

i had posted my revalidation letter to colaba branch old address on 18th july 2014

today only i came to know new address

to my surprise speed post tracker is saying the letter is delivered to that address

i dont understand what to do because if that address is wrong then they should have return me the letter but its delivered

bank is not giving details regarding demand draft.(i mean whether it is encashed or not)

now i had registered for exams without valid registration

should i send revalidation letter again on correct address or make my mind to pay penalty for appearing without proper registration?

U mean speed post tracker showing as delivered to correct address, even if u have written wrong one. If so, mite icai only sent that to ur respective branch. So tomorrow u call ur branch office and get confirmation from them. Still if u dint get proper reply, immediately send it again with dd..I think it juz Rs.500. Instead of paying penalty, pay rs 500 and later no more tense. 1mrthng, u get confirmation letter(acknowledgement letter) with in a month.

Still u did nt get acknowledgement letter means better to send once again. Before u do this, try to get ur registration status from ur nearest branch..ask them whether it is revalidated or not by giving ur registration number. Surely they tel this information. Smtimes ackknowlegdement letter takes time to come so. By chance, if ur status showing nt revalidated yet..immediately do that again.
