POSB- Validation

If your PO is CBS enabled it will have IFSC code which can be got from PO.
Validation is not mandatory for all accounts.Only the account you tick for receiving refund validation is required.

I had been to the Post office and enquired as you had mentioned for IFSC code. They said POSB does not have IFSC code, it's only IPPB which has almost all facilities of any normal savings account which includes NEFT RTGS etc has IFSC code. I need to open an account in IPPB and link with my POSB account go enjoy these facilities. I am not keen to have this facility. So from what I understand, since IFSC is not available for POSB, I need not worry. Correct me if I am wrong. Thanks for your response.

You must ask if your PO is CBS enabled!

Madam PO is CBS enabled, but this particular account does not have IFSC facility. it's not available for POSB, that is why India Post Pay Bank was introduced. My concern was how to validate without IFSC. Regards,

The PO postmaster doesn't know his job.IFSC code is allocated to the PO!All savings account in that PO have same IFSC code!
It seems all mallu s are flickering tubelight s ! How much coaching is required? I wonder how is byju so different from all others!

Every Post office has IFSC code, that is for IPPB account. For your information, POSB account does not have IFSC code, only PO to PO transfer is available for POSB customers through DOP internet banking. Thanks for your time.

Apply for check facility and you will understand what I am talking about! It might be due to madrasi genetic code ,the current IT portal is a testimonial to it!

POSB cheque are CTS enabled with M IC R but does not have IFSC code.

In that case one need not validate as validation of such cases is not possible
