What is vesting period and exercising period and the differen of them

I believe that your query is with reference to ESOP accounting:
Vesting period is period between grant date and the date till all vesting conditions are fulfilled. Vesting condition are conditions which employee need to satify in order to become eligible for getting the shares of the company.
Excercise period is period between post vesting period and last date upto which the option can be excercised.
