can someone pls. help me with these question.
as far as sum no. 92 is concerned, i substituted x=300, 900 and y=6800, 10400 respectively and got option c as the correct answer. (correct me if the method is wrong)
However, I am unable to solve the next 3 questions.
92. variable cost=(10400-6800)/(900-300) = 6
now, 6800=6*300+fixed cost
so fixed cost= 5000
eq : y=6x+5000
93. at break even point profit = 0 ie contribuion=fixed cost
so, break even point = fixed cost/contribution
=5000/(8-6) = 2500
94. if profit of 2000 req,
break even point=fixed cost+req profit/contribution
=5000+2000/(8-6) = 3500
95. by above formula
=5000-3000/(8-6)=1000
