Now the point of preparing for exam, you need to look into the way that your answer sheet is being evaluated and then prepare accordingly to overcome your mistakes and presentation lacks, for that you need to get certified copies of your answer sheets from the institute. You can prepare for 2nd group in 2.5 months. All the Best.

Practice a lot Read a lot. Start with Institute's range of Study Resources and then move on to related dailys journals magazines "Ratta mat maro"

Make your own notes Don't borrow someone's notes.

If you are serving articleship try to understand practical aspects of Information Technology, Strategic Management Cost Management and decision making and subjects you are studying when you visit clients office. That should help you in your life post qualification.

but, usually my accounts paper are best and i got exemption also in first group. i have never failed in accounts and its marks is always between 55-60 but this tym my papers had gone much better but i got only 38. i dont think that i should got such a poor marks. i had  applied for certified copies in previous exam and evaluted and had prepared accordingly...

 mujhe to kuch smjh nhi aa ra...the syllabus had also changed ..aur sirf 2 months me pure syllabus kaise cover up ho paenge?

Hello dear...Don't panic now and just get a few things inserted in urself right now.

1.Think why had u joined for CA,this is a professional course which not only demands ur good score in academics but also tests you mentally as well.So,its time to show ICAI that we as CA students never have "I QUIT" type of attitude rather we have "I WILL DO IT" type of attitude.

2.Let a ghost enter ur brain,which keeps on saying "I DON'T WANT TO SIT WITH THOSE WHO COULDN'T CLEAR,RATHER I WANT TO PARTY HARD WHO STAND APART FROM OTHERS AND HAVE CLEARED THE EXAM".When ur brain keeps on saying the above line to u everyday..ur attitude will change completely and u will work in a different manner to score a hell of marks next time.

3.Start to make a detalied pattern of ur study pattern everyday,and revise all concepts learnt everyday during weekends.Don't loose track of ur progress in any manner.REMEMBER AS ICAI SAYS,"OUT OF SIGHT IS OUT OF MIND"

4.Don't let any kind of distraction affect u in any kind of manner,for example forget about social networking sites,TV,mobile chitchats for a few mnths till ur exams and keep telling urself that these all things will not go anywhere even after the exams.

5.Forget about what is happening around you and remmber about what you are doing and hw best you are doing.

Now you may feel that its easier said than done....but I am saying all these as I have done it all in my preparation for IPCC this time and have scored a distinction in group-1 in NOV 2014.

So,I can definitely guarantee it will help u in everyway if u follow all things said above you will come out with flying colours....ALL THE VERY BEST....

Don't panic Think camly you will get the idea only.. 1.First off all concentrate on your pet subject either its practical or theory. 2.its a different issue which material you are preparing best to cover recent practice manual. 3.if any doubt in subject you may access through icai e learning. If its not sufficient you may attend crash course bcz u already prepared. 4.combined study will improve your confidence level. 5.minimum 2 times revision required before exams started. 6.very important issue effective utilization of time during exam days. Plz bee relax and think camly you only get the overview abt your study plan. I given some important things during preparation.
