As you said you are 22 now. Suppose You join CA, Its very Difficult to pass IPCC with Job. Secondly if you passed IPCC at the age of 23 . As per the New course you can persue in CA (Final) at the age of 26 minimum. Ca final Result is Average Around 8 percent , it is for Brilliant and very Hardworking Students,

I recommend you to Do  ACCA ( U.K) . Just Because of IFRS Implementation in India It has a huge Demand Presently in India.  VG Learning Destination a Vinod Gupta Sir , A  Reputed Chartered Accountant a God Of Direct Tax , His son is also Doing ACCA.  Pass Percentage is Around 30 to 50 Percent and has a good career  in Future.

VG Sir is now a days Promoting ACCA ( U.K) because of having a Huge Demand in Big 4 of association of certified chartered Accountant of U.K.  It is equivalent to U.K Chartered Accountant Degree and Huge Chances of passing the exam because of good result and you can pass the exam one to one paper.

It is Similar to Indian Chartered Accountant and In Industry in Accounting , CA and ACCA has same Value and No Difference. 

I  am 33, Passed CA Final Ist group in 2012 and fail So Many times in CA Final 2nd group. I also Started ACCA With My work, Because of Rising Demand in India and Good pass percentage.

Experience of articleship is not usually considered by companies.Its only helpful if u want to go with practise after being a CA.I think u should just stop confusing yourself and stick to a proper plan.

Perhaps talking to a professor whos teaching CA final can help u with your study plan in a hectic position where you need to work.But if a CA is a dream,pursue it with confidence and discipline.One need to have a very disciplined and sincere approach to clear it,so try understanding your strength and pursue it.Hope you succeed in all your endeavours!

CA was My dream Too. I am not saying you should Drop CA . You can continue your CA With ACCA, Syllabus is Almost same for Many subjects. 

CA is my dream too, I was appeared in 2nd group CA Final and Exams were Very Good.  But Now I and most of my friends Realise that Every CA Student should do One Separate Course Along with CA to Secure your Future.

Apart from That Articleship Experinece will not count in most of the Companies . It is counted only in CA Firms. 

At Your Age I have Passed CA(Intermediate) 2nd Group. CA is a dream of 10 Lacs Students Who are persuing CA, Dreams of Every Students should come true Its My Best Wishes.  2.70 Lacs Members of CA in 66 years, as Institute Said.

10 Lacs Students as the president Said 2 years Before.  How Many Students presently I donot know , Might be Much More that.

I have Never thought Even A single Time in my past. That this kind of sitation could arise with Me.  I was very Much Positive

But Should Positive and doing Risk Management is a difference.

125 Crore People of India has  a dream, Succeed Those, Who Think Positive But with Positive Thinking , Risk Management Stategy will mitigate the Risk in Future. Take A plan Continue Your  CA.  Think Positive. But only 1% think Negative if .

If you want to do CA, good. Why do you ask " Whether I just directly join under CA or convert to direct entry & join CA."

You have made your decision. Articleship is a must for CA and sooner you do it better.

Whether articleship experience will be counted for job depends on what you do in your articleship period. If you take articleship training seriously, chances are you will learn few things that will help you in getting a good job as also in performance of your job
