Please guide for ca final audit

Dear All,

I am not able to clear CA Final Ist Group because of low score in Audit.Please guide how i can score an exemption in this subject and how to prepare for it.

Also, please guide as to which book is best Padhuka , vinod agrawal, pankaj garg,Surbhi Bansal(I dont think this book is sufficient) or Vikas oswal.

Aditi..whichevr buk u pick..point is that u need to have clear understanding of the concept.. I would suggest you to study audit as if you have to appear for an oral test..the day u would b able to narrate the concept oraly in your own words..u can undoubtedly expect for an exemption in audit final.

No matter which book you refer, it is important for you to have conceptual clarity on the topics that your are studying. Ensure you make your own handwritten notes from any standard authors book. Keep revising frequently, so that you gain confident. If you have time at your disposal, you must start writing down the answers in a note book and assess the answers which you wrote and award them marks. Take note of mistakes committed and ensure you don't write vaguely or ambiguously.

Am not an expert. But I ll say its better to stick to the books issued by the icai. Ultimately everything comes from icai books only. There's no shortcut for CA! Good luck.

Pls give priority to icai module and for reference purpose you can read vinod agarwal....try to score full in ethics part and thorough understanding of auditing standards and other auduting concepts will help you a long way to get the desired marks....

Audit is not a kind of subj. Where u score marks by learning. So dnt distract with any this n that book... do make written practise of audit language... points.. auditing words..u will surely get good marks from this...

Dear Aditi I had same problem and now i cleared.. Some points want to share..hope may be helpful... Code of ethics : remember as story in mind.., do all ques in pm and last 3 years RTP..definitely u get 14-15 marks in it. When writing audit paper..jitne marks ka question hai uski double line likhni h..means 4 marks ques k liye 7-8 lines r enough.. Cuz specially in audit paper quality matters instead of quantity.. Koi bhi ek book refer karo..ek se jyada book hamesha confusion create karti h.. SA ko series wise yaad karo..exam me correct reference dekar answer likho.. Misc chapter ko mug up karo... And most imp thing to do...apne kisi frnd se audit k ques ko leke discussion karo...which u know or not...behave like u r a audit teacher n teaching ur frnd.. ..for any other help n notes u can mail me at hiteshchhajer27 @ gmail.com n whatsapp 9929262483 Thx.
