Quick Summary
This discussion is about calculating the Provident Fund (PF) withdrawal amount for a father retiring at age 58 after 5 years of service as a security guard. The basic pay is Rs 12,000. A key point raised is a previous withdrawal of Rs 30,000 in the third year, and whether this impacts the final amount or TDS. The consensus is that TDS is not applicable on withdrawals below Rs 50,000, and advice is given to check the PF balance via the UMANG app.

No tds . check pf amount in umang app.
But my dad witdraws rs 30000 in third year already in between so..while retirement time??
If this is the third year of continuous service and he withdrew 30k .. then no tds will be applicable. above 50k only tds will be applicable
Pf withdrawal which ppf
