Quick Summary
This discussion addresses a query about when TDS deducted on a Provident Fund (PF) withdrawal made within five years will appear in Form 26AS. The deduction occurred in the first week of August. It's explained that the TDS typically reflects in 26AS 10-15 days after the PF authority files their TDS return. The due date for this filing was extended to 31st March 2021 due to COVID-19, meaning the reflection time depends on when the PF authority submitted their return.
It's reflected in 26AS after 10 to 15 day from date of filing TDS return by PF authority. For August month due date of filing TDS return by PF authority is 31st March, 2021 So, it's depends upon, when return filed by them.
