Hi ,
If a company registers for PF in jan 2011,how long with the PF registration process take?
are employees eligible to contribute for the month of jan 2011 ?
if not, are there any means, by which we a company can make a PF contribution at a latter point in time(say in feb 2011 or mar 2011) for the month of jan 2011 ?
Please let me know on this.

after your application inspection is deputed and within 7 days of inspection establishment will get code number, after getting code no, employer is authorized to deduct the employees contribution from the effective date ( as mentioned in code no allotment letter) and pay the contribution of employee + employer, a 30 time time is offered usually by the PF office to pay the arrears.
