hi experts,

please let me know, how to calculate pf and esi on unpaid leaves?

pf and esi both are deducted on earnings. in case of unpaid leaves there is no earning so no pf or esi would be deducted ..
what if an employee took an upl on last day after salary?
pf and esi shall be calculated on the earnings received by you for the month...
I mean if an employee took an unpaid leave after salary in a month, is there any chance to adjust this with next month of salary? if yes what is it? please help
that means the salary was received in advance for the month and then the leave was taken for that month. .... if that is the case you can adjust it for the next month salary.... it happens in case of government employees, they are paid 15 days advance salary
thanks any specific entry for that?
account as you do it in the normal course in such cases... no issues.....
