Quick Summary
This discussion clarifies the correct classification of pension income for retired government employees. It confirms that a retired employee's own pension should be declared under 'Income from Salaries', not 'Family Pension'. The advice given is that correcting this classification, even for the current year, is permissible and will not cause any issues.

1. Not Correct.

2. Yes, his own pension should be declared under Salary head.

Sir will there be any issues if i change now for this year.?

No issue when you are correcting it. Adopting correct option is not wrong by law.
