PE2 finished

discontinuation is good for us... now we dont need to face low passing percentage once again... but i want articleship start fro me... i have clared 2nd group

R u sure that all those students who have cleared his/her group first in PE-2, now can start his/her articleship under IPCE conversion????

Hey Nitin, when did this happen???? As far as I know, they have been strict with the requirements for IPCC, and while the unit transfer scheme applies, the IPCC group 1 is Accounting, Law, Costing and Tax.  So by that logic even PE2 group 2 passed people should be allowed to start, because they have cleared Tax and Costing, while Group 1 people have passed Accounting and Law.

I think what you mean to say is that those who have passed Group 1 of IPCC will be allowed articles to start,  that is, those who have somehow cleared Group 1, and got exemption in Costing & Tax.  Or, have cleared Group 2, and got exemption in Accounting & Law. That makes more sense. Just allowing PE2 Group 1 passed students only to start artciles makes no sense at all buddy, look at the subjects! They are different!

The waiver as far as I know is subject -wise, but do you have any link which states that those who passed PE II GROUP 1 (as opposed to IPCC Group 1 subjects in PE2) can start artciles? I have never heard of any such thing and I can promise you that would create even more confusion and protests because it there is no logic to it at all, the subjects are completely different! As I said, Group 2 passed ppl have cleared Tax and Costing , while Group 1 passed have cleared Accounting and Law. They are on same platform!

@ all-ICAI never made any announcement that students who have passed at least one of the  groups of PE-II can start articleship...

If that announcement would have we would have had a wonderful life,been happy & no complaints to ICAI..pls avoid spreading rumors..

U people are getting confused...

ICAI has only allowed articleship to begin if any student has passed group-I of IPCC(NOT PE-II)

The NEXT point regarding waiver:

• ICAI has only waived the mandatory 9-months study  requirements for all those students who convert to IPCC from PE-II

Request you to provide all of us the authenticated announcement where you received from that the group 1 cleared people can start articles.

You are the first person to provide the information as above as i inquired in institute this month beginning that a pe2 student can start articles only completing both the groups in neither PE2 or IPCC.....
 

Kindly acknowledge as this is a serious announcement you have said which will have a impact in PE 2 students life.
