HI! I'M A PE2 STUDENT AND I CLEARED MY GROUP 2 IN NOVEMBER 2007, I WILL BE GIVING MY GROUP 1 NOW, IN JUNE 2009.
AS PER THE INSTITUTE RULES AN EXEMPTION IN A SINGLE PAPER IS CARRIED FORWARD FOR NEXT 3 ATTEMPTS AUTOMATICALLY.
NOW MY QUESTIONS ARE --
1) IS THE SAME VALID FOR A STUDENT WHO HAS PASSED ONE GROUP?
2) IF YES THEN THIS JUNE IS MY 3RD ATTEMPT AFTER PASSING THE GROUP 2 IN NOVEMBER 2007(I.E. MAY08,NOV.08), SO WILL I BE GIVEN EXEMPTION FOR THE ALREADY PASSED GROUP?
Dear Sakshi,
Exemption is related to a particular subject and not the whole group so do not worry, You will only have to appear for the group which you have not cleared. You are not required to give the group which you have already cleared.
