well i think, in capital budgeting there would be a time where company would think whether to buy or take it on lease (lets take an example of a machine) , decision depending on which method  is more profitalbe or which costs less (both have almost same sense though)

what exactly do you mean? can you please give some more light over your doubt? if you are still here

hey i want to know if the concept of leasing is there for our exam coz the same is not there in our institute study material.

as far as i think LEASING FINANCE is there in our study material, thats what i could get,  its in somewhere in 5.16 under F.M

or did u mean Leasing in Capital Budgeting?

well it was asked in previous years in the exams and i guess it is included in the exams
