Please clarify me whether new Company bill is applicable for the PCC Exams which are scheduled to held in June 2009. Also I would like to know Accounting Standard 30 & 31 are also required to read for this examination. Please clarify me as soon as possible.

The draft of new company bill will be introduced only in the ongoing budget session of the parliament…. since it hasn’t become a statute yet, the same won’t be applicable for June 2009 exam………..moreover, the amendments during the last six months are not applicable for CA exams …………
it should also be noted that, a law will be applicable for the exams only if its a STATUTE or an ACT ie. when it’s passed in the parliament…. A bill, which is only a draft of the law to be passed, is not applicable from exam point of view……
AS 30 & 31 aren’t applicable for PCC
