payment of service is settled thr. credit note

service tax credit is taken when you have made the payment to the service provider, if my service provider gives me credit note for some amount on bill to me.can i claim the service tax credit on the full bill amount.plz suggest at the earliest.

yes servce tax creit can be taken for the payment made thru credit note

It is interesting how tax works in India. In the United States it is a bit different.
