Payment Amount should not exceed the Outstanding Liability While Offset Liability in GSTR3B

While doing Offset Liability the response says Payment Amount should not exceed the Outstanding Liability. I got the GSTR3B summary which has Supply details of IGST=319995.88 rupees, ITC =0(since no purchase) and the Net tax payable is rounded to 319996 rupees. No intrest and no Late Fee.Sufficient Amount remains in my Cash Ledger At the time of offseting liability.Can anyone help?

  1. Go back to GSTR-3B → Payment of Tax

  2. In IGST column, enter:

     
    319995.88

    ❌ Do NOT enter 319996

  3. Offset liability

  4. Submit → File return

✔️ This will go through successfully.

Tax liability would be Setoff from cash ledger other wise require to pay other with cash payment, in your case may be your some amount exist in your ledger or setoff window those are increase your credit ledger with tax liability you should have check properly, thats comman to gst portal error
