It's look like after , you will get an increment in salary of. Rs 400 , 450, 500, 550, 600. so on and so forth . May be you please confirm with others also .
This indicates the person starts with a Basic Salary of 17,000/- pm and gets 400 as increment every year until he reaches 18600 as Basic Salary. (17000/17400/17800/18200/18600)
After 5 years the increment in basic salary is 450/- each year... till it reaches 20400/-
Similarly after ten year the increment will be 500/- each year till it reaches 22400/-
& so.... on....
Dearness Allowance (DA) and other allowances such as PF, HRA etc. are added to the basic salary.
