If one has applied for PAN, say, on the basis of income from other sources, is there any procedure to check on what income source basis PAN was alloted, if one wants to check or re-confirm it? and also if one starts earning salary income, will it be necessary to intimate change in income source to income tax department???? pls tell me solution????

Hi,
It is not necessary to inform such matters to authorities. You may apply for PAN by selecting one income and your income may be changes in due course and you may file the returns with new source of income

In case of company as it is it is left blank. In the first case also leave it blank.
