I had updated my PAN CARD for name ( spelling ) change and have received the updated card with the spelling change also. I have to apply for DIN number and when i do so it gets rejected and the remarks is "name diffrence". the data base always shows the old spelling.
I have spoken to NSDL with this regard and they say the changes have been made in the ITD and only after that u will received the updated PAN card.
But the fact is not the same. can anybody please guide me as how to go about it further.???
