Got a simple query regarding PAN application.
We need to get our monthr-in-law's PAN. Her id proof (school certificate) and address proof (ration card) are in Marathi language. (As it usually happens wiritng on ration card is very bad and nothing is legible) Apart from these she doesnot have any other documents. Can these documents be submitted along with new PAN application?
The only other choice for us is to get a id and address proof certificate in english from a MP/MLA/gazetted officer. Even to get such certificte issued we will have to convince the issueing authority that the existing documents are not accepted for the purpose of PAN. I tried to google, but could not get any info.
If somebody can throw some light on the issue it will really helpful.
