ACTUALLY MY GST LIABILITY FOR AUG-17 WAS RS. 40000 BUT BY MISTAKE I PAID RS. 35000 ONLY IN GSTR-3B, NOW WHAT I DO? SHOULD I PAY NOW OR WAIT FOR GSTR-1. PLEASE HELP

Yes. You can wait for rectify your mistakesin GSTR 1, 2 and 3.
But, Pay your exact liability on or before 20th for every month. If not paid you ll be pay Interest on late payments...
So,
First of you pay the outstanding liability amount... Rs. 5000
