For my AY 2017-18, i received the notification to additional tax of Rs 1350 and i responded back with more information which i haven't received. Now i received Letter from my city to pay tax of same amount so i exclude from this messy followup i decided to pay amount. I mistakenly first paid via View return -> Selected the Ack Number -> e-Pay tax.
Then i realized i should go to E-file-> Respond to outstanding demand and then it will have auto filled information.
Now as i paid in first steps, should i hope for refund because i am not able to find any option to raise Service Request, the Site portal also never respond to our response.
Please help anyone as i feel like i idiot who paid twice.
