Yes, it will be helpful for your CS Exam preparations also since law applicable to CA Final May 2012 and CS Final June 2012 is Finance Act, 2011.

Note:

For CA Final May 2012 amendments are applicable which are effective upto 30.10.2011, but for CS Final June 2012 it will be upto 30.11.2011.

(since amendments are applicable which became effective six months prior to the date of examination.)
