we are manufacturing PVC Compound for cleare our finished goods we are purchasing Polythene covers from manufacturer they are charging Excise duty. 

is this excise duty eligeble for cenvat credit or not?

Cenvet Credit is covered by rule 6 ,3,4,9

If Final Product is not Exempted goods nad Paying excise duty, then eligible for Cenvet credit as per Rule 6, Provided Rule 3, 4 and 9 also followed

Eligible for CENVAT credit.

Yes I agree with Mr. Sharma but a rear case, I found Cenvat Credit on graduals is not admissible to be discus Matter.
