Outstanding tax amount/ pending letter from IT department

you need to login to incometaxindiaefiling.gov.in

click my account - then outstanding / arrear demand section

you will see all the demands outstanding for a PAN

Also you can verify address by calling aaykar sampark kendra and also see the same in my profile section on the same very website.

I checked the OutStanding Tax demand section. It tells No Records fetched.. There is nothing shown there. Does it mean that IT department did not send any letter?

yes this means that income tax department did not sent any letter.

but if you have received any letter then it also means that there is some demand which is not yet reflected in income tax website which can be a possible situation.

so better you confirm - whether the letter was received or not from Post office or place where its delivered or income tax office / banglore cpc 18004252229.
