When it arrives: ICAI opt-out approvals are not instantaneous; they are processed in batches and typically reflect on the portal during the exam window or within 1–2 weeks after the exams conclude.

How to check: No formal email is guaranteed; students must log in to the ICAI Self Service Portal (SSP) under Exam Functions to check the application status.
