though you can not get a direct opinion from IT officials but there are tax consultants who can guide you better on the same.... approach big 4's if you have good budget :)

Are you CONSCIOUS  of THE FACT  that you are in a democratic Govt. where no file moves without paying pricing for it. (also The price increases with the inflation).

When the people who are trying to know the (past) facts throug RTI Act they are facing..........................!!!

i am at a loss to understand ...........how you are asking this ?.

If at all you want to feel pulse of the character of our democracy that prevails in the dept. ask them how to fill a particular column in the ITR......

IF TAX MAN GIVES OPINION HOW HE WILL CATCH YOU AND PENALIZE U SIR, SO TAKE AN OPINION FROM REAL ADVOCATE CUM TAX CONSULTANT, LIKE ME!

At the time of advising itself.  I am sure. YOU NEVER TRIED TO CONTACT ANY OFFICIAL DIRECTLY -SOUGHT  ADVICE.
