November 2015 audit

Can anyone suggest me how to retain audit I am referring pankaj garg sirs book...it is good but the thing is...I am not able to retain...can anyone tell me how to retain auditing and assurance...for my upcoming exams...I have not taken any classes for audit and I am trying to do that on self...and I am not able to gain confidence in the subject!
