Syllabus of CA-IPC, Income Tax [Part-II], Service Tax & VAT has been revised and rechristened as ‘Indirect Taxes’. New syllabus is applicable from Nov’14 Exams.

Mega exemption notification was not applicable for May’14 exams, but it has been included in the revised syllabus.

But mega-exemption chapter isnot given in new revised study material meant for nov 14 attempt

It is given in Chapter 5 – 'Exemptions and Abatements', under Para 5.2.
