hey there !

First of all be positive.

I suggest These Techniques which may help you.

1.Adv Acc

You must prepare AS well.Because they come for around 25-30 pakka.You may refer "ACCOUNTING STANDARDS MADE EASY" Authored by CA Ravikanth Sir
Amalgamation or Internal reconstruction come for another 16 M
In company accounts,practice ESOP,UnderWriting and Liq of comp. from Practice Manual (PM)
In Branch,refer PM and Prv. yr QPapers.it may turnout helpful(but be perfect in those).Same is the case with Dept. acc
You must have fair idea of QP patern and solve as many prv. yr. QP as possible

2.Audit

You may refer to good scanner
I would personaly say NO to ICAI SM.
Refer any good scanners at and be good at companies act.
Rest of auditing is General(Vouching,Special audit stuff) and even in Q#2 of EXAM some 10 q are like bonus.One can score easily in True or false)

3.IT-Sm

Dont take this subject lightly.
ICAI SM(study mat) and PM must be refered.
One need to see the past questions from this paper and prepare SMARTLY
For it be through with PM all question.
In IT from each chapter one 2marks question,one 5 or 4 marks questio and in last q one sub q will come.So formulate some strategy using this and studt smartly.

I had studied advanced accounting from praveen sharma sir book and also referred praveen jindal sir book alongwith pm. And for audit surbhi bansal madam book.and I.t and sm from P.s rathor and dinesh madan sir.

My recomendations

1.Books - Study material and PM.One Text Book as you like it. RTP and suggested/guideline answers.If possible one scanner.

2.Daily 12 hours preparation.

3.Develop a tension free mind.

4.Develop self learning

5.Food habit matching with ayurvedic

THE BASICS OF STUDY

I would strongly suggest you all to stick to the basics of study to avoid further failure and ensure success. There is no need to make drastic changes in your preparation method. In CS and CA exams scanner, practice manual, revision test papers along with Institute study material plays an important role so take reference and plan your study accordingly. For me some basics of study are as follows:

Timely completion of course material—Very first basic thing is to finish your course to have better idea of course structure. This will also help you to prepare a good revision schedule along with study plan.

Timely revision-- Another basic study point is to give ample emphasis to a good revision plan. There is nothing is this world which can substitute a good revision plan. To succeed revision is must.

Ample amount of practice of Numerical [account and cost] questions-- One major reason of student failure is bad performance in practical questions. So ample amount of practice of Numerical [account and cost] questions is must along with perfect conceptual clarity.

Right amount of theory preparation in practical subjects—Most of the students don’t give due value to the theory in the practical subject. So right amount of theory preparation in practical subjects is equally important. The best way to solve this issue is to prepare notes of frequently asked theory questions from Scanner.

Selection of right books—Another basic point for good preparation is the selection of right reference books. So take help from your seniors in choosing right books.

Good presentation of theory— Lack of good presentation especially in theory paper is one of the major drawbacks for most of the students. In theory subjects good presentation of theory is must along with mentioning case laws and sections etc. So I’d request you all to take note of the same.
