Can I opt for new tax regime for revised return as I already filled my original return under old tax regime

Yes you can change refine while filing returns.

Are you sure? because there are lot of contradictory opinion on this. some say can revise while others say it is prohibited.

Sorry my bad. read it wrong.

can't change for current year while revising returns.

can only change it for next year return filing.
